Alex Brown is the Chief Technology Officer at Datactics. Prior to this role, he was the former Head of Dart Development at Vela (previously known as SR Labs) and additionally as a Market Data Technical Consultant at NYSE Euronext. On top of this, Alex has a combined total of 15 years’ experience within the software development and technical innovation sectors. Alex began his career after completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Physics at Queens University Belfast, on top of this he additionally completed a MPhil in Astrophysics from Queens University Belfast. Alex is a keen explorer of the application of data quality, the manipulation and bias that exists in AI and the change that is coming as a result of technology and ML/AI.
